My first watch in 2018: Lend me a watch to wear.....

Breitling Colt Chronograph Automatic A13035.1

Always see this watch at the luxurious watches cabinet in a friend's shop. I always tease him to lend me a watch to wear...... Sometime I would sillily asked him whether I could pay him a dollar a day as a slow installment for a fine watch in stock...... Who in their right minds would take a deal like that????

Recently this friend passed this particular watch to me..... Nope it is not a gift for 2018; he is no doubt a generous friend but only after pestering him for ages. So you can see how annoying I am...... This is more a test drive for the watch.

This one is a used 2000's Breitling entry level; Colt Chronograph Automatic A13035.1. This watch measuring 41mm in diameter and 16mm in thickness. It has a stainless steel case with uni-directional rotating bezel. The stainless steel case has shinning mirrorless finish.

The watch comes with a dome shaped sapphire crystal and a 100 meter or 10 ATM water resistance.

The blue dial is decorated with luminous arabic numbers as hour markers. It is contrasted with silver coloured sub-dials. Breitling logo is printed in golden yellow colour as well as Breitling 1884 in white. At the 6 O'clock sub-dial, the word Automatic is stated.

The hour and minute hand are heavily luminous. What is interesting with this particular Colt Chronograph is that the chronograph counting hand has been changed with one that has Breitling's logo at the end tip.

The crown of this watch should have a B logo there..... But I think this watch had been polished badly before and therefore the crown looked as if it is unsigned. The crown is a screw down and lock type. If I am the new owner of this watch, I might take the liberty of changing its crown to a Chronomat style crown.

This watch comes equipped with the Breitling's Diver Pro silicone strap. This is a classic and very very comfortable to wear.

The black rubber strap has a signed Tang buckle.

The back case of this watch is a screw down type. This watch is powered with the ever famous and super reliable Valjoux 7750 Chronograph movement.

This is a very nice watch to have and for everyday use..... However, I had returned this watch to my friend. I confess, I wore it for a day..... This particular watch is just too small for my wrist size. I has always love to own one Breitling Chronomat Two tones.....
